Description: Let’s hike the Rocky Knob Trail in Virginia. This is a moderate 7.5 mile hike with 950 feet of elevation gain and loss that hikers with limited hiking experience can do. Around thirty percent of the trail is in the open so you can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding mountains. I hope to be back in Greensboro around 4. To carpool from Greensboro meet in the front parking lot of Fellowship Presbyterian Church at 7:30; the address is 2005 New Garden Road in Greensboro. We should be at Rocky Knob Campground around 9:20 for hikers not carpooling. Park in the grass across the road from the campground (not on the parkway) Please let me know if you plan to hike and where you plan to meet me by email. [7.5 miles +- 950 ft. R-18]
