Description: Take a break and get outdoors locally with a relatively easy out and back 7.6 mile hike on the Osprey and Townsend Trails within the Greensboro watershed. Much of the trail skirts the edge of Lake Townsend. The Osprey Trail parking lot will be on your left as you travel north on Yanceyville Road from Pisgah Church Road and is approximately 0.3 miles north of the Ronald McNair School (before crossing the bridge). Register, email, or text if you plan to come (or just show up). Hike will be rain or shine. Approx. 7.6 miles. [R-11]
